My precious Jewel, My art

4th November 2009, was a beautiful day we got married. After marriage we moved to US, everything was very new to me people, culture, and places. Slowly & gradually I made friends here and went to different places enjoyed every bit of it. But got bored - as in India had my family & job; here I have to do something to pass my time.

One day was cleaning my home in US what I found was more than the hidden treasure "it was drawing sheets, canvas & colors" those were not only colors for me they become my life "Colors of my life " started doing my paintings again. I remember that we went to “Smith museum of stained glass windows” in Chicago; there we saw such an amazing collection of stained glass. It was truly a fine art, that's the best part of navy pier for me. I got so much inspired from that made my first sketch of Jesus. That was the start of my art, after that made many sketches & paintings & still doing it proudly.

Then I give a thought to recycle scraps that I have at home so started working on paper, vase & bottles. Decorated bottles with clay art with different themes like sea, season etc. . . . People around me always encouraged me a lot ;)️ sometimes they motivated me with the beautiful phrases & sometimes they just pull my leg, that's what friends are for, it recalls me about one of the incident
One time one of our friends came to our home & they saw a bottle art at home & said: they are just beautiful!!!

Then next question was - Is that Jack Daniel bottle?
yes it is : i said
He looked at my husband & said: oh u lucky man!! So now your husband got license to drink ;)

 We all started laughing :)

And this is how I started doing my art work and will continue it for the rest of my life. Whenever I do my art work it gives me pleasure, it feels so fresh, energetic & positive that I never feel doing anything else. I thank god for gifting me this precious jewel of art that’s going to stay with me forever.`
